A Florida woman suspected of armed robbery and attempted murder was arrested Friday night at Chicago's Greyhound bus station downtown.

Nicole Marie Thomas, 30, of the 14000 block of Choctaw Village Drive in Tampa, was arrested about 9:55 p.m. in the 600 block of West Harrison Street. She was ordered held with no bail in bond court this morning.

Someone who knew she was wanted contacted police in Florida with a detailed physical description and told police when and where she'd be arriving in Chicago, according to authorities.

Officers met her at the bus station and arrested her.

She's wanted out of Hillsborough County on the warrant, which lists an offense date of Nov. 11.

A spokeswoman for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office wasn’t available.
